With the Service model, technology will be used as much as needed

TECHNOLOGY AFTER PANDEMIA

With the corona virus, we have included many technical products in our lives. Fever-measuring cameras, wristbands that alarm when they get close to each other, and many similar technologies entered our lives in the days of coronavirus.

Nowadays, institutions want to supply as much technology services as they need instead of purchasing technology.

At the end of this pandemic period in which all routines are broken, the technology purchasing methods of businesses and institutions will also change.

In this pandemic period, when the importance of traceability was understood and talked about the most, we all benefited from the blessings of technology and big data. So, will everything continue in the field of technology as before the pandemic? In Turkey where domestic production gained speed in technological areas, what will we face after that? We asked to Ankaref Chairman Erhan Binici who has made his mark by the means of developments and productions of technological solutions on traceability in Turkey after the pandemic. In the first periods after the pandemic, there are important changes in two issues. First of all, there are serious changes in user habits . The concept of watching was actually a concept we liked but did not attract our attention. During the pandemic period, we have acquired the habit of monitoring both institutionally and individually and we want to continue this. In fact, we have been arguing for a long time that monitoring increases quality, decreases costs and, in short, adds value to your business and life. During the pandemic period, awareness of these concepts increased. For example, our most demanded solution in this period is social distance wristbands. In the event that two employees approach each other more than 1.5 meters at workplaces, wristbands warn and report to their managers at the same time. In addition, our Sensref platform, which offers a cloud monitoring infrastructure with sensors, receives serious demands due to various needs such as temperature, air quality, whether the soap or paper towel in the toilet is finished, how many people are in the environment instantly. The most important change is happening in the individual market. Wireless home security system and smart doorbell products with Fonri brand are our products that we put on the market for use in homes. The market entry strategy for Fonri products is that everyone will individually monitor their own data and will not pay any monitoring fee or technical service fee. Fonri is based on a user-friendly mobile application and plug-and-play products that everyone can install themselves. Fonri, which we have determined as the brand of products that anyone can easily purchase, install and manage by minimizing the need for technical service with one-to-one change under warranty, almost proceed to attack after the pandemic. The most important reason for this is that individual users now feel closer to technology. Individual users have begun to look more favorably on systems that they can monitor and manage themselves. In this pandemic period, they saw that it was not really that difficult, that they did not need to pay subscription fees every month and spend big money. The second important change after the pandemic is the change of corporate perspective on technology investments. Now, institutions want to supply as much technology services as they need instead of purchasing technology. During the pandemic period, some institutions could not use the infrastructures they established as a result of large investments, some were caught unprepared and had difficulty managing their growing business. As Ankaref, we have been trying to offer this business model to all our customers for a long time. We do not want to sell anything to our customers. We want to be a business partner that provides added value to our customer's processes with technological touches. At the end of this pandemic period in which all routines are broken, the technology purchasing methods of businesses and institutions will also change. With the service model, technology will be used as needed and when the business grows or shrinks, the management will be easier with service increase and decrease and unnecessary investments will not be made.
